Star profile: Christian Bale

Christian Bale is a really representative image of Hollywood’s quality, becoming shortly a reference name in good, tensioned and complex acting… His role in Batman from the genial revitalization proposed by Christopher Nolan didn’t make anything else than to cement his image of an actor that fits well into somber roles with more or less violence in them. What does really matter about this actor is that he doesn’t fit into the Hollywood’s standard picture, the surface one of ridiculous and irrelevant entertainment. She recommended Bale with which she played in Anastasia. For the interpretation in this movie adapted by autobiography of J. C. Ballarad, Christian Bale adjudicated the award for Best Interpretation of an Young Actor, award granted by National Board of Review of Motion Pictures. It seems that the fame which came after this success confused for some period in Bale’s mind, which didn’t appear into a movie until 1989, when Kenneth Branagh convinced him to play in Henry V. One year later, he was distributed with Charlton Heston in television movie, Treasure Island.
