Berlin film festival to be adorned by some of the Hollywood’s biggest stars

The Berlin Film Festival besides celebrating its 60th year this time will be a host to many Hollywood’s best. The 11 day event which will see screening of 400 movies and will be quite an event with so many top stars adorning the red carpet. Renee Zellweger will be a part of the seven member jury in the film festival. The jury will choose the winners from amongst 20 films for the desirable Silver and also the Golden Bear awards. Along with Zellweger, Pierce Brosnan and Leonardo di Caprio will also be among the A-listers coming for this year’s festival.

Ghost writer which stars Pierce Brosnan and Ewan McGregor will also be screened at the Berlin Film Festival this year. The film’s completion got delayed as the director Roman Polanski, the controversial fugitive was arrested last fall at the Zurich festival. Though many have protested against this arrest but Polanski is held against some previous charges. Ghost writer which also stars Ewan McGregor will see the actor playing the role of a writer who during his research uncovers some dangerous secrets. As a special tribute to the German director Eric Rohmer his prize winning movie Pauline at the beach will be showcased. There are many other notable movies which will appear the Berlin film festival when it begins on February 11th.
