Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief Another Review

Percy Jackson is a real magnet for disasters and have problems in school-but that is the least of their challenges. We are in the XXI century but the Olympian gods seem to have escaped the pages of Percy’s textbook on Greek mythology to sneak into your life. Percy has learned that his real father is Poseidon, god of the sea, which means that Percy is a demigod, half man, half god. At the same time, Zeus, the king of all gods, Percy has accused of stealing his thunder.

Now, Percy must prepare for the adventure of his life, and the stakes could not be more important.
With storm clouds darkening the planet terrible omen and running the risk of their life, Percy is routed to a special place called Camp Hybrid (Camp Half-Blood), which undergoes training to use their newfound powers and avoid devastating war between the gods. There, he meets Percy colleagues of semi-divinity-the warrior Annabeth, who is seeking his mother, the goddess Athena, and Grover, childhood friend and protector of the former, which is really a brave satyr who has not yet been tested.
Here, Grover and Annabeth Percy undertaken with an incredible transcontinental odyssey that takes them to a height of six hundred floors above New York (the site of Mount Olympus) and the iconic Hollywood announcement under which burn the fires of Hades. At the end of the journey is the destination of the world and the life of Percy’s mother, Sally, whom Percy must rescue from the very bowels of hell.

Personal opinion: I do not know how to give my opinion without a lot of spoilers.
The story has a good argument for my taste is original and well run. It’s almost two hours of film because you will fly all the time entertaining @. The visual effects are milk and the fight scenes are very currades. The end is not bad. Indeed, after the credits there’s more!

Those who have read the book say that changes a lot. But change is not bad. However, if you’ve read the book and you had the illusion of seeing a few scenes, I say there are many that do not come in the film, many important as the beach … Besides the main character is older than the one you have in the book (12 years), which annoyed me. So I guess that sells more than ..

The best: visual effects, the struggles, history and involvement of Uma Thurman.
The worst: do not follow the book very much and spends too fast despite the 2 hour movie.
