“One Day” directed by Lone Scherfig Grabs Hathaway & Sturgess for leads
The two actors who are recently in talk to star in the upcoming retro film; “One Day” is being captained by Lone Scherfig. With Lone Scherfig casting Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess in the cast, this is a movie that is based on the novel written by David Nicholls. The creator of An Education, Scherfig, is now trying hands with a romantic story that will feature a young couple who met for the first time on their graduation day and then again after a long gap of one year.
Produced by Nina Jacobson, the movie is touted to begin shooting this summer at London and the details and cast finalizations are still a thing that is not confirmed. The movie touted to feature a very persuasive and endearing picture of a close friendship this will then move with how the things mould and the relationship moves and turns into as the year of being not in touch passes in the life of the two actors.
Somehow depicting that the makers are trying to merge together what One Fine Day and 500 Days of Sumer portrayed, well will audiences like this mix and match combination of the so-called movies like Before Sunset and Love letters, or will the same land up much different from anticipated.
A movie sure believed to unveil a whole new side of Hathaway is a great way to keep her away from the usual Romcom craps she has lately made appearances in.
