Green Lantern, the one casted for a role as Abin Sur – Temuera Morrison

The Warner Bros creation that is currently making news Green Lantern has begun shooting in New Orleans today. Although started shooting but the cast of the movie is still being speculated. With two new names now on the list, it has been reported lately that two new actors from New Zealand are being added to the cast, Temuera Morrison being the one more confirmed on this front.

Morrison who rose to fame with his part as Jango Fett in Star Wars, Episode II, is now heading to play the part of Abin Sur in the movie Green Lantern, which is a character that is a super-terrestrial being that passes on a ring that is super powered to Reynolds’s character in the movie. Directed by Martin Campbell who already has a blockbuster called Casino Royale to his arsenal, this one is sure the one that is much anticipated.

Still not clear that whether this superhero action packed epic will be filmed in 3D or not, but anyway the same will arrive in theaters in the coming summer to add more heat to the already hot climate. But one comment that surely goes to Campbell as a credit is that this is sure a great casting and with Abin Sur being vital part of the plot, let’s hope the movie will sure get a great twist with the new entrant, one of which is surely Morrison, for the other one cling on.
