The Twilight Saga: Eclipse teaser trailer released!

The full teaser trailer of Eclipse has shown up online as promised by Summit Entertainment:

I’m definitely thrilled by the full trailer of Eclipse: I didn’t know I was missing Bella (Kristen Stewart), Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Jacob (Taylor Lautner) so much! I was a bit afraid that David Slade wouldn’t respect the emotional content of Stephenie Meyer’s book and that it would overemphasize action over emotion. But I guess he’s been guided in his movie adaptation, and the result looks splendid: there is a fine balance. The movie The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is going to rock!

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is an upcoming romantic-fantasy film scheduled for release on June 30, 2010. It is based on Stephenie Meyer’s Eclipse and will be the third installment of The Twilight Saga film series, following 2008’s Twilight and 2009’s New Moon. Summit Entertainment greenlit the film in February 2009. Directed by David Slade, the film will star Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner, reprising their roles as Bella Swan, Edward Cullen, and Jacob Black, respectively. Melissa Rosenberg will be returning as screenwriter. Rachelle Lefevre, who played Victoria in the previous two installments, will not be returning due to scheduling conflicts; instead, Bryce Dallas Howard will play Victoria. It will be the first Twilight film to be released in IMAX. The first trailer was released March 11th 2010.
