Star profile: Christian Bale

Christian Bale is a really representative image of Hollywood’s quality, becoming shortly a reference name in good, tensioned and complex acting… His role in Batman from the genial revitalization proposed by Christopher Nolan didn’t make anything else than to cement his image of an actor that fits well into somber roles with more or less violence in them. What does really matter about this actor is that he doesn’t fit into the Hollywood’s standard picture, the surface one of ridiculous and irrelevant entertainment. Bale is a part of another category of actors.

Christopher Bale was born in Wales on January 30 1974. His father, David Bale, was an entrepreneur, commercial race driver and “talent” manager. His mother, Jenny James was a clown for a circus. In 1976 Bale family left Wales, and Bale spent his childhood in Great Britain, Portugal and United States of America. Established for a period of 4 years in Bournemouth and Henley-on-Thames, Bales was registered to “Shiplake C of E” primary school, Dolphin school from Berkshire and Bournemouth school. In this period, Bale participated in ballet courses, took guitar classes and joined many Rugby teams.
