Hugh Jackman’s cancellation from the Drive cast, a great disappointment for fans

A cast shift is something that many movies in Hollywood constantly witness. But, this time not just an alteration in the cast is being seen but the director of the movie too has been replaced. This is true for the upcoming thriller movie Drive, which initially was thought to be directed by Neil Marshall, now has a new captain of the ship in the form of Nicolas Winding Refn. Also, the cast drift is being seen in the form of Hugh Jackman getting replaced by Ryan Gosling, where Jackman was initially playing the part of a getaway driver in the thriller.

Hugh Jackman, the Wolverine fame joins the new project of Wayne Wang and heads to China

Hugh Jackman, better known as Wolverine is now heading to China to play a lead role or what is also called an unbilled cameo in the movie “Snow Flower and the Secret Fan“.

A movie set during the era of the early 19th century circles around two friends who are Snow Flower and Lily who actually have to struggle through various odds in both the social and cultural scenario of that time and era. The movie being directed by Wayne Wang who is an Chinese-American director still keeps the character of Jackman as a surprise tale and under covers.

Real Steel enters production in June

The ones from Detroit Free Pass announce us that filming for Real Steel will begin in Michigan in June.

The movie which will be directed by Shawn Levy, with Hugh Jackman in main role, will be launched on 18 November 2011.

Real Steel has as a source Sicence Fiction story of Richard Matheson, and it is about a professional fighter which becomes promoter of “alternative” boxing from the moment sport is forbidden on a reason that it became too much violent. Human fighters are replaced with robotic avatars, and the whole show is named very subtle Robot Boxing. Hugh Jackman’s character is a “coach” of which chances are minimal since he has access to very cheap components. His luck changes in the moment he stumbles upon a robot ignored by everyone, but which seems to win every time.
