Diablo Cody is disappointed of Jennifer’s Body marketing
Although Jennifer’s Body started as a movie with a lot of potential, especially after its first trailer people started to be curious and imagination gone free – Karyn Kusama’s movie didn’t perform very well in box office, although it was made an excess of Megan’s Fox powerful image.
In Diablo Cody’s opinion, which signed the script of this funny horror, the reason for which Jennifer’s Body was a failure, is that “preferential” marketing was made. Using other words, the movie was presented as a trap for making the young males to watch Megan Fox.
“I want to believe that will find at some point the proper audience. Same time we did know from its start that it won’t attract the audience too much. However I’d love this movie, and I am proud of it and I will like it forever, I think it is less common, and pretty inaccessible from many points of view. I don’t think it is a typical horror movie. It is actually a movie related to artistry. I know many will laugh when will read this”, declared Cody very convinced of what she said. What do you guys believe? Did you enjoy Jennifer’s Body?
