Shutter Island Review: Enjoy the horror flick Shutter Island

One of the most anticipated films of this period is certainly new film Shutter Island directed by the great Martin Scorsese. Adapted from a novel by David Lehane (author of, among other things, Mystic River and Gone Baby Gone), this film is among the performers Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo, Michelle Williams, Max Von Sydow and Ben Kingsley. Despite all the bad reviews by all movie goers, who somehow considered the Shutter Island as the poorest of all reviewed movies of the other four Scorsese-DiCaprio combis, the movie experienced a great opening weekend. As per the box office wrap scores of the first weekend after this hit the theaters, the Shutter Island managed to earn an astounding $40.2 million, which is an amount that is almost $13 million over the previous best opener of Scorsese named The Departed and even surpassed the mark of DiCaprio’s Catch Me if You Can by a $10 million mark or greater.

Shutter Island- A hard road viewers may have to walk while watching this one

Shutter Island a movie that is brilliantly done as per the detailing part is concerned. Flawlessly constructed, has everything but something that actually adds the greatest flaw or shortcoming to the otherwise master piece is the basic catatonia the same packs.
