Update 2: With the last star to arrive, Cameron Diaz, the 82nd Annual Academy Awards have began!

Update 3: Neil Patrick Harris starts the decernation with a short musical performance.

Update4: Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin come to stage from above, making a special entry to stage. They joke about Merryl Streep, who has 16 nominations to present.

Update 5: Best actor in a supporting role – Oscars 2010. Nominees are:

We have a winner for best actor in supporting role. Have you guessed who it is? Well it is no one else than Christoph Waltz with his impressive role in Quentin Tarantino’s movie, Inglorious Basterds. Well done! Waltz doesn’t forget to thank Tarantino for the great opportunity he was offered.

The winner for best animated feature film of this year is Up! Pete Docter takes the award without forgetting to thank his supporting family.

‘The Hurt Locker’ bags immense appreciation and award at the PGA Awards

The Hurt Locker, a new entry of the suspense thriller genre, a film by Kathryn Bigelow has made the award season appear great for the movie as well as the maker. Bagging immense appreciation from audiences worldwide, the film has faced a very tough competition from Avatar, the present #2 in Hollywood movie history.

Getting a great clear sweep appreciation at the PGA Awards, The Hurt Locker has been selected as the best film of the year at the Critics award for best film, and has also earned a huge Oscar boost. A war drama, the movie is based on a bomb disposal unit at Baghdad and has simply made the director Kathryn overwhelmed with this wonderful and more than anticipated recognition this has earned worldwide.
